Edinburgh Jitsu was set up in 1996 by Shihan Paul Golz. Our style is called (in Japanese) Shin Tai Wa Ryu, which means Co-ordination of Body and Mind.

Edinburgh Jitsu provides instruction in practical self-defence, based on the principles of traditional Japanese jiu-jitsu. Our classes take a fun and friendly approach to learning a martial art, and are suitable for all shapes and sizes.
We train at the following times:
