This long-running and very popular series of lunchtime recitals features a wide variety of performers, playing and singing in one of Edinburgh's most beautiful concert spaces. These concerts are free by donation, and a perfect way to spend a lunchtime during the busy festival!

Biography
Neil Mantle was born in Essex and studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London. he has combined a successful career as a freelance horn player with RSNO, SCO and Scottish Opera with conducting and examining for the ABRSM. He has been awarded an ARAM (an honour accorded to distinguished former students), the Elgar Society silver medal, and an MBE for services to music in Scotland.
Gillian Gray: coming from a musical family, she received a scholarship to the Nottinghamshire County Music School. After graduating from the University of Manchester and the RNCM, she taught in Nottingham before moving to Edinburgh to take up her present appointment on the piano faculty of City of Edinburgh Music School. In addition to her activities as a chamber music performer, Gillian has appeared with Scottish Sinfonia in concertos by Beethoven, Mozart, Rachmaninov and Schumann.
