About

5PM. Join us for this special 'reunion' service of Choral Evensong, sung by the current Cathedral Choir along with many of its former choristers, lay clerks and organists from across the years.

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of the Cathedral, and so a collection of music particularly associated with St Mary's will be sung. See the music list for more details.

Evensong is a living tradition of Anglican Communion, going back hundreds of years. This reflective service of words and music, sung by the Cathedral Choir (made up of adults and children from the nearby St Mary's School), is a way to worship God, to quietly pray together, and to close the day.
